Navigate down the Salt River and discover a scenic and relaxing desert oasis. While floating this class I river, you are surrounded by spectacular, unobstructed 70-mile views into 4 different mountain ranges. Flowing from the mountains in Northern Arizona, the Salt River is captured by two dams and released for use by Phoenicians and farmers year-round. This ensures that the water level is ideal for our river adventures. The reliable source of water attracts a variety of wild life, making it common for us to enjoy close encounters with animals enjoying their natural habitat. Some favorites include: groups of wild horses ambling along the riverbanks, Great Blue Herons and the majestic Bald Eagle hunting for prey!

How it works: A combination of treasure hunt and scavenger hunt, your teams will learn the story of the ancient Indians, the KA-HA-TENI (meaning “Native” in Navajo). They will receive clues heading to the treasure and a leather map to assist them on their journey. Periodically along our journey downriver we will stop to compete in team challenges. Spins, tug-a-wars, races, and obstacle runs will be required in these light hearted and fun activities. Only the teams who work together will survive.
