Team Building Activity Retreats
DAY 1: Travel Get to know your facilitators and settle in to our destination whether in the bottom Grand Canyon, a floatplane accessed eco-lodge, or a five-star resort. Over a welcome dinner we clearly set the expectations of each participant and attempt to make each person comfortable with, and acutely aware of, the challenges they will encounter in the coming days. DAY 2: Full Day of Play A.M. Activity: Team Orienteering - Navigate through pristine wilderness, pose for a picture next to a stunning view, learn the natural history of the area and celebrate victory all in two to three hours! You already outperform, outwit and outplay your competitors, now let’s see how you measure up to your fellow workmates! When you complete this event, you will walk away with the skills and confidence to know you could be a survivor! Learn about the environment, its plants, its mountains and its history, all while you compete against your peers in this highly interactive event. P.M. Activity: Team Challenges - These team challenges will test the group both mentally and physically. Each focuses on creative problem solving and emphasizes teamwork. Many of these events have been seen on Reality TV shows such as: Survivor, Fear Factor and No Boundaries. AOA will select 4 to 5 challenges that we feel best fits your group’s demographics and goals. DAY 3 – The Grand Finale The Safe and Sound Expedition - Utilizing the navigation skills learned in the previous exercises each team must mount a successful expedition. However, there is a catch – teams will not be measured by speed and efficiency alone, the safety and well-being of each team member will be weighted most heavily. Our Safe and Sound Expedition Exercise is always tailored to fit the environment in which we are working. However our expedition destination is always selected to present difficult-access challenges and an inspiring finish. Elements often include overland trekking, biking, kayaking, and mild canyoneering. This evening we will celebrate our successes with a festive farewell dinner. DAY 4: Return Travel |
