Adventure Meeting Retreats
OVERVIEW Departing from one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Vancouver, our travels will lead us through the Coastal Rainforest of Howe Sound, the adventure filled Squamish Valley to the mountain resort town of Whistler. DAY 1 TRAVEL All participants should fly into the Vancouver International Airport where they will be transferred to the waterfront Westin on Coal Harbor. Tonight we will host a welcome dinner and orientation at the Hotel. DAY 2 – GLACIAL ICE BREAKER After meeting our facilitators/guides in the lobby at 9 a.m., we drive through astounding scenery as we snake north along the majestically rugged coastline of Howe Sound past gorgeous ocean views. Then it’s on to more beauty begin our Class IV river rafting adventure. The Elaho (“EE-la-ho”) River, which is fed by runoff from the Lillooet Icefield, is considered one of BC’s most scenic rivers. Next we check in to the Four Seasons Whistler for a peaceful night of slumber after our day of adventure. DAY 3 - MEETINGS and OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES Today is devoted to meetings. Flexible Four Seasons venues flow easily between indoors and out. Discover flexible spaces that adapt perfectly to your goals and technology that accommodates the most demanding presentation and communication requirements. DAY 4 – MORNING MEETINGS AND AFTERNOON ADVENTURE After another morning inside it is time to move our meeting space to a location with a better view. Your final meeting will be held atop a jagged peak surrounded by glaciers! We head into a backcountry bursting with wildflowers and endless views of the snowcapped peaks adorned with massive glaciers. Next it is time to rope up to your work mates and meet the mountains! Fun for all, the afternoon on the glacier is a delightful adventure full of excitement and fantastic scenery. After returning to the village we celebrate our accomplishments with a festive dinner at La Rua. DAY 5 – MORNING RELAXATION AND TRAVEL Today after a relaxing morning we return to Vancouver International Airport. |
